Artistically Brilliant
This would be the first Vietnamese movie I'll want to see more than once. The Vietnamese martial arts has never seemed to impressed me 'til now.

I've seen this movie many time in its original version (vietnamese) and been waiting for this US original version, I always wanna see 2nd disc (making of the movie, behind the scene, interview...)

SO GOOD
This is the best Vietnamese action movie til now. I've seen this movie twice and I really love it. In the recent time, another action movie of Johny Tri Nguyen and Dustin Nguyen will be release on Vietnamese cinemas.

Top Notch Action Film! Hard to imagine a better Vietnamese Film!!!
Once will not be enough to see this film! I'm thoroughly impressed! Non stop action from start to finish! This has to be the best Vietnamese Film ever made! I would rate it as one of the best action films I've ever seen. I can't wait to see it again. Veronica Ngo is to die for!!! She gives new meaning to the term action figure! If you love action films, you better purchase this dvd!

The movie will be a must see
I rated this one with 5 stars because I know it will deserve all 5. I hope that Jackie Chan's "Dragons Forever" will soon be released as well as Jet Li's "Lord of the Wu Tang"!

Great Film
The movie got started into the action immediately and never really slowed down. It had great action scenes, great acting perfomances, and a great plot. A definite must own.

Fresh air to the martial art gene
A piece of interesting history plus excellent martial art moves, PLUS the first time Dustin Nguyen playing a badass, nicely done.
How can they do this w/ around $2mil bucks? It could easily beat many crappy movies we see today in the theatre.

AN AWSOME AND VERY ORIGINAL MARTIAL ARTS EPIC!!!!!
In all my days of watching from Bruce Lee to Jet Li to Jackie Chan and Tony Jaa. I've never seen this type of martial arts style used in a movie before. I want to learn and know more about this style of fighting. It can't be a action without the action of course and the plot. This movie definitely has both of those. Highly Recommended.

As a Vietnamese this movie had a great impact on me as it is presenting not only Vo Vietnam for the first time on a world level, but also depicts war with the French and the hardship that the Vietnamese people experienced.
For all those who are proud of who they are this is a movie that will lift your spirits high and will show you the strength of the blood that runs in your veins. All I can say is a big thank you to all those who made that movie possible and honored the memory of all those who lost their lives for the freedom of modern Vietnam.
